Lauren Koenigshofer
Associate Director of Housing & Services, Solano County
Lauren provides direction and oversight to emergency shelter sites, permanent supportive housing sites, a day center, and outreach initiatives. She also leads strategic oversight for housing and support service programs across Napa and Sonoma counties, aligning program goals with regulatory standards and organizational objectives. In addition, she manages fiscal planning and budget oversight, ensuring financial efficiency and supporting data-driven decision-making; and drives continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal outcomes and compliance.
She possesses more than 15 years of management experience. Prior to joining Abode, Lauren worked at Social Advocates for Youth, where she provided oversight to a range of sites and programs such as its Teen Shelter, Street Outreach Program, Transitional Age Youth Shelter, Housing & Victims Services, and the Careers and Education department. Lauren has extensive experience and knowledge of policies tied to national housing and social welfare and health. She has garnered expertise in the causes of stress, health, and disease in impoverished communities by conducting interviews with residents and leaders and through extensive research of data, regulations, and programs about low-income housing.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Sonoma State University, and a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Western Governor’s University.
