CARF accreditation is an additional indicator that Abode delivers consistently outstanding services. We are re-accredited every three years.

In 2022, Abode Services received a three-year accreditation status from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities Commission (CARF), an international agency that accredits health and human services organizations.

This achievement reflects Abode’s commitment, dedication, and passion to providing quality services to our participants, residents, housing partners, landlords, and community partners.

CARF is an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services providers in the areas of Behavioral Health, Child and Youth Services, Opioid Treatment Programs, Aging Services, Durable Medical Equipment, Employment and Community Services, Medical Rehabilitation, and Vision Rehabilitation Services.

CARF assists providers in improving the quality of their services by applying sets of quality standards during a consultative on-site survey. When a nonprofit organization or agency receives CARF accreditation, that means the organization has demonstrated it adheres strongly to CARF standards - a judgement that has been determined after undergoing an in-depth review of its services.

Preparing for the three-day CARF accreditation visit in 2022 was a tremendous undertaking that involved seven CARF surveyors digitally visiting 38 Abode locations and interviewing more than 80 Abode staff employees. The survey visit resulted in CARF awarding an accreditation status report that extensively detailed Abode’s strengths.

We thank all Abode staff employees for helping us earn this achievement.
