Jennifer Kakatin
Principal and Founder, Blossom Social Services
Ms. Kakatin is an experienced social worker and a dynamic communicator who excels in crafting strategies, problem-solving, and delivering strong results. She possesses more than 15 years of experience in her field, helping her to become proficient in training hospice social workers and efficiently creating contracts with hospice companies. She also has served as director of social services for multiple skilled nursing facilities. Her seasoned background in social work and lived experience fuel her passion for advocacy and valuing the importance of human relationships. In her current job, Ms. Kakatin collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and patients to determine treatment options. She also crafts treatment plans, makes psychosocial assessments, identifies community resources, coordinates care, and helps patients navigate the healthcare system.
Ms. Kakatin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development from California State University, East Bay; a Master’s degree in Social Work from California State University, East Bay; and a Master’s degree in Public Administration, with a concentration in Health Care Administration, from California State University, East Bay. She is currently a psychology doctorate student pursuing a PsyD degree at University of the Pacific in Stockton.
