Anthony Simon-Welch
Associate Director of Health & Wellness, Santa Clara County

Anthony oversees and supervises a multidisciplinary staff, and leads the development of new housing programs. He ensures program quality, supports crisis response, manages funding allocations, drives system improvements, and represents Abode in meetings throughout Santa Clara County. He also facilitates case conferencing, and develops tools, policies, and procedures to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

He has nearly 10 years of experience at nonprofit agencies and has been at Abode Services since 2018. In his prior role with Abode, Anthony served as program manager at a permanent supportive housing site where he increased staff satisfaction and retention and improved key performance metrics. He also provided strategic leadership to a multidisciplinary integrated service team, ensuring successful implementation, coordination, and evaluation of services. He ensured programs’ compliance with funding regulations, goals, and stakeholder expectations; supervised staff, providing regular and appropriate feedback including hiring and termination, training and coaching, opportunities for professional growth, and regular evaluations; supported the development of policy and procedures and other aspects of programs; ensured overall program compliance with HIPPA guidelines; and spoke publicly about program progress and efficacy to interested stakeholders.
