Margaret Alfaro
Director of Compliance & Evaluation
Margaret is responsible for managing data and compliance teams and updating and maintaining agency policies and procedures. She oversees Abode’s program and outcome data for an agency spanning six Bay Area counties and several large databases, ensuring a high level of data quality and completeness for all programs. She coordinates and supervises regular internal monitoring of agency programs and initiates key process improvements in line with current federal, state and local rules and regulations. Margaret supports a diverse array of programs across the agency with data collection, program reporting, and data analysis needs for both internal and external stakeholders.
Margaret joined Abode in 2017 as the Program Evaluation Manager and later served as Senior Program Manager, Evaluation & Compliance. She comes to Abode with nearly a decade of nonprofit experience and project management experience managing complex initiatives funded by a range of private foundations, governments, corporations and individuals.
