Joy Jones
Vice President of Programs, Region 2

Joy oversees program operations for housing and service programs at Abode Services in Region 2 (Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and San Mateo counties). She is responsible for implementing high-quality programs that achieve positive housing, health, and wellness outcomes. Joy is committed to helping participants who face socioeconomic barriers and leveling the playing field for individuals and families supported by comprehensive supportive housing programs in the community. She supervises director-level staff and works to build and maintain key relationships with community partners and funders.

Joy is an innovative practitioner and strategist whose skills include program management and organizational effectiveness. She is a highly adaptive collaborator with a special talent for stakeholder and client engagement. She is a systems thinker and works to develop effective strategies that increase capacity.

Joy’s specialties include program and project management, change management, implementation science, capacity building, continuous quality improvement (CQI), supportive housing, CARF and COA accreditation, technical assistance, public-private partnership, and grantee and nonprofit management.

Joy holds a Bachelor's degree in psychology from Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio, and a Master’s degree in social work from Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia.
