Jeremiah Williams
Director of Housing Programs, San Mateo

Jeremiah oversees all of Abode’s housing programs San Mateo County, ensuring the successful implementation, evaluation, and coordination of services. He fosters new partnerships and leads high-level program development, goal-setting, and engagement with external stakeholders. He provides coaching, support, and direct supervision to all staff managing programs in San Mateo County. In addition, he collaborates with Abode’s executive and senior management teams to resolve issues relating to finances, human resources, and program operations.  

Jeremiah has extensive employment experience in working to rehouse formerly homeless people, working more than a decade with permanent supportive housing programs at Bay Area agencies. He joined Abode in 2016, performing a wide range of duties in the Rapid Re-Housing program in San Mateo County. In his most recent role, Jeremiah worked three years as housing programs manager, providing oversight to scattered-site supportive housing programs serving homeless individuals and families. He also supervised housing and case management services, as well as budget oversight for large public contracts, maintaining a close focus on successful outcomes for program participants to ensure successful program delivery.

Jeremiah holds a Bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of San Francisco.
