Ike Grozier
Associate Director of Client Services, Santa Clara County Health & Wellness

Ike oversees a portfolio of five Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) programs in Santa Clara County. These programs include program managers and a variety of other key staff. An Abode employee since 2021, his responsibilities include managing a high standard of program operation that supports housing retention for unhoused individuals in Santa Clara County; and maintaining a professional relationship with stakeholders that include Santa Clara County Housing Authority, Office of Supportive Housing, and a selection of property management agencies. He also ensures that all aspects of PSH sites are meeting internal and external standards in accordance with contract agreements designed to support and promote housing retention and the delivery of effective services.

He has 25 years of professional experience in the field of Substance Abuse Disorders and has held a variety of positions ranging from Substance Abuse Counselor to Clinical Supervisor and Clinical Director. This work was in both the nonprofit and private sector of the Behavioral Health field. While holding these positions, he also was employed for 10 years as an adjunct professor at San Jose City College, and formerly was the founder and executive director of a private substance abuse treatment facility in Santa Clara County. Ike has more than two decades of managerial experience in several fields - housing placement and retention for unhoused individuals in Santa Clara County; residential inpatient and intensive outpatient programs; and multiple permanent supportive housing locations.

Ike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. He also is a state Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (non-governmental LAADC) and Certified Criminal Justice Addiction Professional.
