Angie Aguirre
Director of Quality Improvement
Angie is responsible for guiding Abode’s quality-improvement and training efforts. She strengthens Abode’s capacity to provide high-quality services in an environment that is customer-oriented, data-driven, and performance-based. Prior to Abode, Angie was a public sector consultant providing services to local government and nonprofit agencies in the areas of evaluation, needs assessments, and community planning. Angie served as the lead evaluator for Santa Cruz County’s Sobering Center and Project Thrive, a violence-prevention initiative focused on improving access to culturally competent, trauma-informed services for young men of color. She has extensive experience with data-driven, decision-making processes, such as Results-Based Accountability (RBA), and has utilized community-driven strategic planning processes, such as Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships (MAPP).
Angie holds a Bachelor’s degree in ethnic studies from UC Berkeley, and a Master of Public Affairs degree from Princeton University.
