Alma Garden Apartments
Alma Garden Apartments offers 10 affordable homes for very low-income residents, whose incomes are at or below 50 percent Area Median Income. Alma Garden Apartments comprises three buildings housing eight studio apartments, two one-bedroom apartments, a laundry room, and an office.

Current vacancies
Studio units with an occupancy of 1-2 household members are currently available. One-bedroom units with an occupancy of 1-3 household members are not currently available, but you may still apply. Applicants for unavailable units will remain on the waitlist and will be contacted if and when there are one-bedroom units available.


Income Requirements for Applicants
*Studio unit rent is $1,750 per month less a utility allowance. 

*Minimum income - Non-fixed income: $3,500 per month (or $42,000 per year)
*Minimum income - Fixed income: $2,800 per month (or $33,600 per year)
*Maximum income limits - One person: $64,550 per year or Two persons: $73,750 per year

*Rental subsidies are accepted and the minimum income requirement would be waived. Maximum income limits would still apply.

Application Process: What to Expect
Applicants are applying on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants will be contacted in ranked order until vacancies are filled. When you are contacted by an occupancy specialist to begin processing your household’s application, prepare to complete more detailed paperwork and provide the required supporting documents. (These documents include but are not limited to pay stubs, SSA/SSI award letters, etc.). All information that you provide below will be verified and your eligibility confirmed. Your application will be removed from the waitlist if you have made any fraudulent statements.
