Claudine Sipili

Claudine Sipili is the Director of Lived Experience & Innovation at Destination: Home, where she leads local and national efforts to strengthen the role of people with lived experience in shaping homelessness systems, policy, programs, and organizational decision-making. Her work focuses on building leadership infrastructure, advancing equitable employment and professional development opportunities, and creating pathways for lived experience leaders to influence systems change.

Claudine brings professional expertise and lived experience of homelessness, justice involvement, and navigating public systems. She previously served in the United States Navy and Army National Guard and has spent much of her nonprofit career developing and supporting initiatives focused on housing stability, economic mobility, and greater inclusion of people directly impacted by homelessness.

She serves on the Santa Clara County Continuum of Care Governance Board and the Abode Services Board of Directors, where she chairs the Governance Committee.

Claudine was recognized with the 2023 Patricia A. Gardner Changemaker Award and named a 2026 Woman of Impact by the County of Santa Clara Commission on the Status of Women. Across her work and board service, she is committed to strengthening governance, challenging practices that exclude people most affected by systems, and ensuring lived experience is recognized as a source of leadership and expertise.
