34th & San Pablo Family Housing is a 100% affordable housing development located in West Oakland, next to the historic California Hotel. The building will include 60 residential apartments across five stories, plus a ground-floor commercial space. There will be a total of 43 secured bike spaces. The ground floor of the project will also contain a community room that opens onto an outdoor landscaped courtyard, as well as a management office and an onsite resident services suite including a computer lab for residents. The overall design intention is to serve residents by creating private residential spaces as well as community gathering spaces, allowing residents to interact with others how they choose to. This development project is developed by Abode Housing Development in partnership with EBALDC.
