Doug Ford Community Apartments is one of Abode Housing Development's supportive housing programs in Alameda County. This housing community has 90 units on a 1.4-acre property in the Irvington District in the city of Fremont. Apartments are made available to seniors who are veterans or have experienced homelessness. At this site, Abode intends to create a community that provides secure, stable quality housing along with a sense of place, designed specifically to address homelessness through permanent supportive housing.
