Algarve Apartments will be an 8-story building located at 1135 E. Santa Clara Street in San José. The development will add 91 units of affordable homes in Santa Clara County, including 24 apartments set aside for military veterans and 36 permanent supportive housing units for people who have experienced homelessness. The supportive housing site, developed by Abode Housing Development, will combine affordable homes with wraparound support services for Algarve residents. Construction is expected to finish in late 2027. Abode Property Management will serve as property manager and Abode Services will provide on-site services.
